Taking part in community eventsHow our services affect you

We check whether our policies and the work we do have a different effect on different people.  In particular, we look at whether they affect people differently because they are older or younger, a man or a woman, disabled, lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) are from another country, speak a different language and have a certain faith.

This process is called Equality Analysis and we have summaries available about what we found, and what we did about it.

Taking part in Refugee Week 2011

We have been recognised nationally for our outstading work on equality and diversity, to find out more visit our Awards and Accolades page.
