Berneslai Homes Sniffs Out The Problem
A Berneslai Homes Impact Officer has been commended by South Yorkshire Police for helping lead to the arrest of a resident, for cultivation and possession of drugs.
After Berneslai Homes received reports of a strange smell coming from one of their properties, the Impact Officer who had recently attended a cannabis awareness talk at Barnsley Police Station immediately recognised the smell, and contacted the police, and explained their findings.
As a result the police gained access to the address and evidence of drugs was recovered.
An Officer of South Yorkshire Police added; I would like to thank the Impact Officer for their hard work and swift action which has led to this arrest.
