Changes to the Leaseholder Service

Berneslai Homes have made a number of changes to the way the
management of leasehold services is carried out.

There is now an officer who is responsible for the co-ordination of the service.
The Senior Rents and Leasehold Officer will make sure that leaseholders are
consulted on any major works taking place, act as a central point of contact,
and produce service charge and ground rent accounts. This is a major
alteration to the way things happen and will mean that leaseholders will no
longer be passed from pillar to post.

Leaseholders can now expect far more detailed service charge accounts at
the end of each year. These accounts will determine the charge for the
following year and will be variable depending on the costs incurred by each
individual scheme. The newly established Leaseholder Forum have been,
and will continue to be, consulted on all issues concerning the leaseholder
service.

A new handbook has been produced, which leaseholders have been involved
in writing, and copies are available from the senior rents and leasehold officer.

If you have any enquiries, or need any more information, please contact
Gareth Roebuck, the senior rents and leasehold officer, on 01226 772710
