Its question time at Berneslai Homes
We are inviting our customers to come along to the next customer panel on the 10th September at 6pm in the Metrodome, Barnsley.
The event will have a ‘Question Time’ theme and customers will be asked to put their questions and concerns about how Berneslai Homes provide housing services. In the spotlight will be our: Chair Suzy Brain England; Chief Executive Helen Correy; Director of Assets, Regeneration and Construction Services Stephen Davis and Director of Housing Management Mark McGee. If you have a question you want to raise please contact the Community Engagement Manager by Monday 8th September. The panel will not be able to answer any questions of a personal nature.
Also on the agenda will be feedback from the last Customer Panel which was held in July where customers looked at environmental issues such as dog fouling and fly-tipping.
We launched our Customer Panel in July 2007 and agreed priority issues and themes for future meetings, these included repairs, the environment surrounding people’s homes, the way we communicate with our customers and more.
All tenants and residents are welcome to join the panel and it is an informal and flexible way to be involved in shaping the service. Being a member of the panel will not take up a great deal of time. Meetings will take place every few months, but it’s down to you how many you want to attend. Becoming a member of the panel will mean that in time you will gain more understanding about how Berneslai Homes works and also help up to improve the service we provide.
Director of Business and Customer Service Dave Fullen adds, ”We would welcome anyone who would like to join our panel. We believe that the best way of improving our service is to work closely with our customers and to listen and act on what they have to say about the service we offer.”
