Calling young people come and get your pot of cash
Berneslai Homes have created a funding pot for young people in Barnsley. The funding pot has been created with donations from Inspace Partnerships and other donators to benefit young people across the Borough to help fund and support a variety of activities, trips, equipment, and school holiday provision chosen by young people to benefit their group, centre or club.
The funding pot has a panel of young people who will decide on the success of the applications, so that the grants provided will be decided on by young people, for the benefit of young people. Applications can be made for a maximum of £500 per group or project.
Berneslai Homes Director of Business and Customer Services Dave Fullen adds, “We are grateful to the donors who are making this new scheme possible. We hope this funding will positively effect and encourage the engagement of young people across the borough and improve provision within our communities.”
