Independent research recently carried out by Berneslai Homes has told us that our their staff and customers are happier than ever!
The results from the annual customer satisfaction survey, which is posted out to a random sample of tenants, show that overall satisfaction with Berneslai Homes as a landlord, satisfaction with accommodation and value for money from rent are at a record level. Overall satisfaction with the service is 86% which equals that of the best performing ALMOs in the country and is a 21% increase from 2003 when Berneslai Homes took over the management of council housing in Barnsley. It’s clear that customers value the improvements in the repairs and maintenance service over the last few years, with customer satisfaction at 81%, a 23% increase since 2003.
A staff survey was recently sent out to all our 600 employees, to look at key areas including job satisfaction and security, pressure at work, working conditions and the service. The survey showed that the majority of our staff felt Berneslai Homes is a good place to work and that their jobs make an important contribution to the quality of life for the people of Barnsley.
Dave Fullen, Director of Business and Customer Services added, “We are extremely pleased with results identified within both surveys and are happy that in the past year we have got better at the things that matter most to our tenants and staff. We are constantly improving the service we provide to our customers and hope that next year brings even higher results.”
