We are inviting our customers to come along to our next customer panel on the 11th March at 6pm in the Metrodome, Barnsley.
The event will focus on the Tenant Services Authority, (TSA), which is the new regulator for social housing. It is their job to ensure that landlords deliver a quality service to their tenants and to take action against those who do not. They are drawing up a set of standards and want to hear from as many tenants as possible. We want to know tenants views on what makes a good landlord. By joining in tenants can take an active role in shaping the standards that all landlords will be measured against.
All tenants and residents are welcome to join the panel and it is an informal and flexible way to be involved in shaping the service. Being a member of the panel will not take up a great deal of time. Meetings will take place every few months, but it’s down to you how many you want to attend. Becoming a member of the panel will mean that in time you will gain more understanding about how Berneslai Homes works and also help up to improve the service we provide.
Berneslai Homes Director of Business and Customer Service Dave Fullen adds, ”We would welcome anyone who would like to join our panel. We believe that the best way of improving our service is to work closely with our customers and to listen and act on what they have to say about the service we offer.”
If you would like to attend the panel there are now limited places available please can you contact Claire Hawley, Federation and Customer Panel Advisor, before the event, to reserve a place on telephone 01226 781172 or e mail: clairehawley@berneslaihomes.co.uk
