- Barnsley Eastern European Cultural Association (BEECA) - BEECA was set up by Berneslai Homes and represents the Eastern European Culture across the borough. There aim is to improve welfare, training, social and leisure activities as well as contributing to the local community and promoting racial equality. - Barnsley Federation of Tenants and Residents - Acts as the umbrella organisations for 26 Tenants and Residents Associations throughout the Borough.

- Kendray net - is an established community of over 3,000 people in Barnsley and offers an insight into community and regeneration activities within Kendray.
- National Federation of Tenant Management Organisations (NFTMON) - represents management co-ops, estate management boards and other forms of tenant management organisations in England. They aim to support existing tenant management organisations and encourage the development of new ones.
- Staircase - Staircase is a support network for residents of housing associations and local authorities in the UK. They bring residents together to support each other for personal and community advancement and to help shape the policies and services that affect us.
- Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) - the leading national tenant participation organisation working to promote tenant empowerment.
- Tenants and Residents Organisation of England (TAROE) - the Tenants and Residents Organisations of England is, a democratically run, accountable, national organisation which unites tenants and residents groups from social housing across England. TAROE is run by tenants for tenants to represent and campaign for their interests and to ensure that all have rights of access to well maintained, safe and secure homes.
- Yorkshire and Humber Tenants and Residents - Well established as the regional voice of council and housing association tenants. With funding from the Tenant Empowerment Programme, and support from Partners in Change, YHF has developed a strong membership base and influence in housing policy. YHF is also working with partners to develop a national tenants voice.
