Berneslai Homes is committed to keeping Barnsley neighbourhoods pleasant places to live, not only through our excellent tenancy management services, but also with our broader regeneration initiatives.
We all wish to live in nice areas that can be called “sustainable places”, but sometimes various problems can cause a neighbourhood to fall into decline. In these situations our dedicated Regeneration Team can take a lead role working with residents to tackle local problems and make neighbourhoods highly desirable places again.
We are working in partnership with local residents, BMBC, Housing Developers, Housing Associations and funders such as Transform South Yorkshire and the Housing Corporation to dramatically improve several neighbourhoods in Barnsley.
Each of these area’s have their own specialist regeneration teams.
We also have regeneration specialists taking a lead role in the strategic modernisation of Older Persons Accommodation across Barnsley.
We manage a number of other clearance and redevelopment schemes including Mount Pleasant, Bellbrooke and Smithies.
