Decent Homes
When we've completed a decent homes scheme in an area we ask all the tenants to complete a short survey to tell us how happy they are with the improvement works and how we treated them whilst the works were being completed.
Our results of the recently completed schemes will be provided shortly.
Regeneration
In some areas of Barnsley (for example Worsborough Common, Atherlsey and New Lodge) we are completing regeneration works which include demolishing homes and remodelling estates. The fantastic improvements to estates and the lives if residents can be seen in areas like Kendray. But we know that when works are ongoing it’s a difficult time for tenants and residents who might have to be rehoused or who remain in their homes whilst the regeneration works are completed.
We pride ourselves on offering top quality support and advice to residents living in these areas and to check that we continue to deliver an excellent service we ask residents to complete surveys after they have been rehoused.
