Article: Financial Health Check

The Money Advice Service logoWhatever the situation with your finances, it’s good to know where you stand and that you are making the most of what you have. The government's Money Advice Service has just launched the financial health check, a new online money planner, which is for everyone.  The Money Advice Service is independent and it’s here to help everyone understand and manage their money better.

The interactive health check asks a number of straightforward, multiple-choice questions. It doesn't require any paperwork and it takes between 5 to 10 minutes to complete. At the end you will get:

  • an action plan tailored to you
  • simple steps for you to do
  • clear goals.

The action plan will suggest ways to control your spending, make the most of your savings and ensure that your finances can cope with a change in circumstances.

This service is free, unbiased and confidential.
