Multi-agency training is an effective way of bringing people from different agencies together in order to understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to the safeguarding and protection of children.

The Safeguarding Board Multi Agency Training Officer facilitates an extensive range of training courses available free of charge to individuals and agencies who have a responsibilty for safeguarding children.

The training programme also contains input from a number of external facilitators who are commissioned to provide training on behalf of the Board.

Training is offered at a range of levels.  It is the overall responsibility of the each individual to ensure that training is accessed at the appropriate level.
