Tenants First Service can provide advice & help with benefits & money management; family support, mental health, employment, training and education issues. Our team can help you on a range of issues including: Wellbeing; social isolation; practical advice; money management; family intervention; and mental health support.

Organisation & Development team at Construction Services who will be promoting our ongoing apprenticeships. We aim to have at least 18 people in these positions at any one time, which tend to be over 2, 3 or 4 years, depending on qualification and job role. The apprenticeships are in a variety of roles from construction trades to office administration, procurement and operational support roles. We have a very good record in getting our apprentices through to completion of their training and also in many cases offering a job at the end. In addition to apprenticeships we have a range of work experience and introductory events that we hold throughout the year. These are used to give people a taster of what it is like to work and train with Berneslai Homes. If you are interest in getting involved or want to know more then please get in touch with our training coordinator Michelle Moore – michellemoore@berneslaihomes.co.uk

Housing Management Officers will be at the event to provide advice and assistance around tenancies and estate management. Officers will be able to answer any questions you may have around your tenancy and the area in which you live.  They will take any enquiries in relation to other departments such as Rents, Housing Applications etc. and respond back to you within five working days.

Fire Safety Officer will be on the tour to answer any questions about fire safety concerns, and also give advice on testing smoke alarms, making an escape plan and information on bedtime routines. Anyone who has any health needs or mobility problems that would impeded their escape in a fire situation can request a Person Centred Fire Risk Assessment where extra fire safety measures could be put in place.
