Each year we produce a Customer Involvement Impact Assessment, which assesses the impact that involving our customers has on the services we provide and the communities they live in. It documents and explains all our different types of involvement. You can download it from the download section on this page. Over the 2019/20 year this is a summary of the direct, integrated and the TARA element of community involvement:
- 3120 Customers have been involved
- 5791 Volunteer hours have been given
- £78,406 Is the value of our volunteers’ time
- £92,869 Staff costs and other costs associated with the involvement
It has been a successful year for community engagement in 2019/20. We had an impressive 5791 volunteering hours given by volunteers.
3,120 residents have contributed by being involved in Berneslai Homes in an array of meaningful customer outreach, events and engagement projects. This includes 3 resident Board Members, members of TARAs and our Tenant Voice and Scrutiny Panel working with us to improve policies and check service quality. This is showing us that involved residents have been influential in helping us to understand what matters in regard to our services.
