Mental Health Awareness Week

We’re pleased to support Mental Health Awareness Week (10 to 16 May), hosted by the Mental Health Foundation.  This year the theme is Nature, which is so central to our psychological and emotional health, that it’s almost impossible to realise good mental health for all without a greater connection to the natural world.

Repair Message

We are currently experiencing delays with materials.  We will still attend your repair visit however there may be a delay in sourcing materials so you may not have the repair completed on the first visit.

With the weather getting warmer South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue want to remind everyone of the dangers of inland open water such as lakes, rivers, ponds, reservoirs, canals and balancing ponds.

More electric vehicles to be added to council fleet

Barnsley Council Cabinet members will be asked to approve the replacement of 11 more petrol and diesel vehicles in the council’s fleet with ultra low emission vehicles (ULEVs) as part of Barnsley Council’s work to achieve carbon net-zero.
