An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Tenant Voice Panel. If you have an interest in the ensuring that the tenants voice is heard in relation to the services you receive, then we have a seat waiting for you.
Involving tenants makes a real difference to the way we deliver our services, and that’s why is so important that your collective voices are heard.
Meeting on a monthly basis, you will be part of a panel of customers who are there to offer assurance and challenge, making evidenced based recommendations to the Tenant Scrutiny Panel for service improvements and reporting back to Board and our Customer Services Committee.
The role involves examining performance data, meeting with Officers to hear about any changes we are planning, or to just clarify any issues relating to services, and most importantly offering a customer perspective on service delivery, performance and compliance.
It’s not about bringing your own agenda to the table, it’s about ensuring the Customer Voice is heard, and we are delivering what we say we are.
We are looking for a tenant or leaseholder that has a great understanding of performance data, doesn’t mind reading reports, has a head for figures and can add value to the meeting from a customer perspective. You will have a commitment and enthusiasm for improving and developing services for all Berneslai Homes customers. We aren’t looking for a vast amount of experience, just a passion for making sure we are doing the right thing, and the ability to challenge us if we aren’t.
In return you will receive a comprehensive support package, including an induction to the Tenant Voice process, ongoing training and one to one mentorship, should you need it.
As a thank you, we will also give you a small voucher for every meeting you attend. This is an extremely challenging role, but very rewarding knowing you’ve done your bit to ensure all the customers at Berneslai Homes have their voices heard.
We will be inviting potential applicants to have a chat with us, as it is quite a specialised role, and we want to make sure that we provide all the support needed to ensure you get the most you can from being a member of the Tenant Voice Panel.
Due to the pandemic, meetings will be held via Microsoft Teams, and if you need help setting this up, just let us know. Don’t have a computer? That’s not a problem as you will be supplied with a device and internet capability should you need it.
