Tenant involvement recruitment drop-in session

Interested in making a difference in your community and helping to influence decisions that affect tenants and leaseholders across Barnsley?

We’re looking for tenants and leaseholders to become a Tenant Board Member or Customer Services Committee Member.

Come along to our drop-in session from 10am – 12pm to chat with us about the roles, ask questions and speak to current involved tenants. You'll be able to:

• Learn more about the roles and ask questions in an informal setting with no pressure to apply.

• Hear first-hand from involved tenants about their experiences and the impact they’ve had on services.

This session is a great opportunity to learn more before deciding if one of the roles is a good fit for you. You’ll get to learn more about other tenant involvement opportunities too, including different ways to have your say, and help influence the services we provide.

We’ll also be supporting you to share your views in the Barnsley 2040: Shaping the future survey. This borough-wide survey is helping shape Barnsley's long-term vision beyond 2030, and we'd love to hear your views on the opportunities, challenges and future priorities for our communities.

Getting to Roundhouse Library

To make the event as accessible as possible, we’re providing free transport for anyone who’d like to attend, please email governance@berneslaihomes.co.uk to book this. If you're travelling by car, there’s parking available at Roundhouse Library, with additional on-street parking nearby if the car park is full.
