Welcome to our new look website
We’ve listened to your feedback and made some improvements to the Berneslai Homes website so it’s easier for you to find the information you need. We’ve listed the key changes below to help you find your way around.
Search bar
Use our search bar, located at the top of the page in the centre, to find information on the website. Simply type in a key word or phrase and the search tool will suggest results to help you.
Website alerts
Look out for our site wide alerts which will appear in orange at the top of the page, letting you know about important information or customer service notices. You’ll also see page alerts on some individual pages in dark blue at the top of the page – these will contain information about the page you’re viewing.
My account
You can now access your Housing Online account using the button in the top right-hand corner of the website. Use your account to make a rent payment, check your balance, update your contact details, report non-emergency repairs and more.
Translation and accessibility tools
You can translate the website into another language at the click of a button using the tool at the top of the page. Simply click ‘Translate’ and select your preferred language. Adjust your screen settings by clicking the person icon to open the accessibility toolbar where you can use page zoom, clear text mode, dark mode, and text zoom. To reset, simply click the curved arrow button.
Events
Our new events calendar shows you what’s on in your local area, from estate walkabouts to involvement and engagement opportunities. Join us in your local community and search for the events and activities by location or type.
Available homes (quick lets)
If you’re on the housing register and looking for a home, you’ll be able to see some of the available homes suitable for quick lets. Many of these are within our Independent Living Schemes so please check eligibility. You can still view the week’s available homes within Housing Online as normal.
If you have any questions or feedback about the website, please email comms@berneslaihomes.co.uk
