Do you want to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation that exists to serve communities, improve lives, and deliver social housing?

We’re looking for an Independent Board Member, who shares our values, to take on the role of asset management champion. This position includes membership of our Audit and Risk Committee where you’ll help provide effective oversight and challenge across our risk and assurance frameworks.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee and set the long-term strategic direction for Berneslai Homes.
• Offer strategic insight and scrutiny on asset management and building safety as the ‘subject expert’.
• Promote the values of Berneslai Homes and our Strategic Plan, which places tenants at the heart of everything we do.
• Contribute to our mission of delivering housing services that makes a positive difference to people’s lives.

We welcome applications from individuals with repairs delivery experience and sector knowledge in local authority or housing organisations.
