Talk is Change: We’re creating more and better ways for you to have your say as a tenant or leaseholder!

We’ll soon be advertising a range of new exciting involvement opportunities starting with four roles for our Customer Services Committee. These will be two paid and two volunteer roles. These roles will be open to all current Berneslai Homes tenants or leaseholders as part of our commitment to hearing from more and different voices. 

What does the Customer Services Committee do?

The Customer Services Committee is all about making sure we listen and respond to the tenant voice. 

The committee offers challenge and seeks assurance that Berneslai Homes is: 

•    Listening to tenants 
•    Delivering excellent services
•    Making sure plans are in place to resolve any issues we know about

Meetings are held in person at Gateway Plaza each quarter and the Committee looks at a range of reports with a focus on customer service. Full training is offered.

When? 
Thursday 13 November, arrive at 3.30pm to meet the team and enjoy a tour before observing the meeting from 4pm onwards. The meeting will finish no later than 6pm.

Do I need prior experience to attend?

No – the invitation is for any tenant or leaseholder with an interest in the Customer Services Committee.
It might be your first time at Gateway Plaza, or you might have little or no experience with meetings like this or being an involved tenant. Please don’t worry! We want you to feel welcome and comfortable to attend, and our friendly team will be on hand to introduce you and show you around. You’ll be able to grab a cuppa and settle in to watch the meeting in action. You’ll be advised on the day if there are any confidential agenda items.

When will the new roles be advertised?

We’re expecting the new roles to be advertised in November, following the Customer Services Committee meeting.
