National Tenant Involvement Week 16-20 November

Published: 02/11/2026
National Tenant Involvement Week

Talk is change and we’re proud to be supporting National Tenant Involvement Week 16-20 November with Tpas, the tenant involvement experts. It promises to be a week packed full of all things tenant engagement and involvement, with plenty of opportunities to learn, share ideas, hear from others, and celebrate the fantastic work happening here in Barnsley and across the social housing sector.

Throughout the week we’ll be celebrating the positive difference tenants are making to services and communities, and showcasing the different ways tenants and leaseholders can get involved. From quick feedback and surveys, to conversations, panels, and other involvement opportunities, there are many ways for everyone to have a voice.

During the week, Tpas are providing a range of free online sessions for tenants, with guest speakers, practical examples, conversations, and ideas to take back to your own community. We’ve listed a sample of sessions below, to view the full schedule of events online please click here (opens in a new window).

Dave Fullen, Executive Director of Customer and Estate Services, said: “We’re proud to support National Tenant Involvement Week by celebrating the difference tenants make, sharing opportunities to get involved, and helping people access the free Tpas sessions. It’s a chance to show how listening to tenants helps us improve services and strengthen communities.

“I’d like to thank everyone who already gives their time to share their experiences, challenge us, and help shape what we do. Your contribution matters and we hugely appreciate it.

“If you haven’t been involved before, we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need any special experience or lots of spare time - whether you complete our short survey about social housing stigma, join a conversation, or take part in a panel, there’s a way to have your say that works for you. Your experience can help us see things differently and make changes that matter.”
